SAR UV Protect is the Swiss-Made anti-reflective coating for mineral glasses with perfect UV and additional blue light protection .

With the SAR UV Protect anti-reflective coating, all the positive properties of high-quality plastic anti-reflective coatings are also available on mineral spectacle lenses for the first time: comfort, hydrophobicity, hyper-oleophobicity and antistatic properties. Mineral glasses with the SAR UV Protect anti-reflective coating have the highest scratch resistance.

With the additional built-in blue light protection, glasses with SAR UV Protect also meet the requirements of the digital world. The high level of precision in the arrangement of the reflection-reducing layers reduces the residual reflection to a sensational 0.3% (with MIN 170).

Two innovative properties :

SAR UV Protect reflects UV-A and UV-B rays. This means that for the first time mineral spectacle lenses can be equipped with optimal UV protection .

SAR UV Protect is precisely applied to the glass. The layer accuracy within the layer package is 0.1 nm. Titanium is used to maintain the stability in the layer structure. Titanium is the highest quality material for an anti-reflective coating and contributes to the fact that a residual reflection of 0.3% can be achieved.
